Responding to the Gospel call of Jesus Christ to feed, shelter, clothe, comfort and welcome all, St. John's Refugee & Immigration Ministry supports the local resettlement efforts of Catholic Social Services and the Sisters of St. Joseph.
More than 65 million men, women and children worldwide are currently fleeing oppression, poverty, torture, political unrest and war.
Both CSS and the Sisters of St. Joseph provide support to our brothers and sisters arriving in the Philadelphia area regardless of religion or country of origin.
St. John's offers financial, material and personal support to these new arrivals from Afghanistan, Ukraine and elsewhere.
