by Monday, Nov. 18, 2024.Note to Parents: The online Confirmation Packet must be completed by Monday, Nov. 18, by all youth eligible to receive Confirmation at St. John Chrysostom, whether your child attends PREP or a Catholic school. Please carefully review the instructions before submitting the packet online. The packet may be submitted only through Google Forms. We are circulating this information in advance to give children the opportunity to work over the summer. Please share this with them directly.
If your child will not be confirmed at St. John's on Feb. 20, please contact Patti Briganti immediately.
ABOUT CONFIRMATIONThe third and final Sacrament of Initiation, Confirmation "confirms," or strengthens our commitment and service to the Body of Christ.At St. John Chrysostom, the Parish Religious Education Program (PREP) oversees sacramental preparation for all parish youth, regardless of their school. Confirmation is usually celebrated in seventh grade, although we understand that some families have special needs that require other arrangements. Please contact us to discuss any special needs of your child.Note to PREP Parents: Confirmation in seventh grade requires your child's full participation in PREP beginning in Grade 1. Grades may not be skipped, and extended absences will affect a child's sacramental schedule.Confirmation Sponsors

Non-parishioners should contact their home parish for sponsorship documentation.
