Respect Life Month at St. John Chrysostom

Oct. 15: Join us for a Respect Life Rosary Rally at 12:15 p.m. in front of church. This Public Square Rosary to our Blessed Mother will be one of 15,000 such rosaries nationwide. The annual event is sponsored by America Needs Fatima.
Oct. 15-16: The Respect Life Committee will sell pro-life items after all Masses to raise funds to support the Amnion Crisis Pregnancy Center of Drexel Hill.
Oct. 26: Please join the Respect Life Committee at 7:30 p.m. tonight and on the last Wednesday of each month to pray a Monthly Pro-Life Rosary and recite the Divine Mercy Chaplet.
Oct. 29-30: Baby bottles will be distributed after all Masses for parishioners to fill with donations to support Mother’s Home of Darby, a shelter for homeless pregnant women. Please take a bottle and return it filled by Nov. 20.
Ongoing: SJC’s Our Lady of Fatima (Parish Pilgrim Virgin Statue) is available for weekly visits to families to promote prayer, especially the Rosary, in the home. Please contact Bill and Ellie Murray (610.566.7626) for more information. Transportation help for the statue is available.

The committee works to support numerous human life issues with fundraisers, prayer and other activities year round, especially around Mother's Day and Respect Life Month in October.
Monthly Pro-Life Rosary
Please join the Respect Life Committee at 7:30 p.m. on the last Wednesday of each month in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel (rear of Parish House) to pray the Rosary for pro-life intentions and to recite the Divine Mercy Chaplet.
There are no regular meetings. Committee members are asked to help distribute literature after Masses or prayer services two or three weekends a year. All committee communications are done via phone or e-mail.
