St. John Chrysostom now hosts a weekly Al-Anon meeting from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturdays in the Stevenson Center (ground-level rear entrance to the Parish House). Al-Anon is a support group for family and friends affected by alcoholism, whether or not the alcoholic is still drinking. St. John's also hosts an Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meeting at 8:30 p.m. Thursdays in the Stevenson Center. Both Al-Anon and AA meetings are run by those organizations, according to their guidelines and independently of St. John's. Meetings are open to all.
